Join us Wednesday April 11th for a Free Lunch and Lecture in the Old Refectory at Yale Divinity School. Yale Youth Ministry Institute is proud to present our third Lunch + Lecture of 2018, a part of the Joy and Adolescent Faith and Flourishing Series. This afternoon's lecture will feature Dr. Stephanie Paulsell, Susan Shallcross Professor of Christian Studies at Harvard Divinity School and Ms. Vanessa Zoltan, host of the popular podcast, Harry Potter and the Sacred Text. They will deliver a lecture entitled, "Matches Struck in the Dark: Imagination and the Joyful Life" See abstract and bios below.

Dr. Stephanie Paulsell and Ms. Vanessa Zoltan, MDiv will deliver a lecture called “Matches Struck in the Dark: Imagination and the Joyful Life.” Drawing on a range of religious and literary resources, this lecture will explore the creativity at the heart of the life of faith as well as practices that help us cultivate it.
